Privacy Policy
Scholarship Central, a component fund of the St. Louis Community Foundation, MyScholarshipCentral.org, the web-based platform it hosts, and the Oversight Committee of Scholarship Central are strongly committed to protecting the privacy of users. This policy identifies what personal information is collected by MyScholarshipCentral.org and how the information may be used. Each organization that partners with Scholarship Central to provide its opportunity on the website agrees to this privacy policy in addition to their own organization specific privacy policies.
Information Collection and Sharing
Two types of information may be collected on MyScholarshipCentral.org: personal information you knowingly choose to share and aggregate site use information as you and others use our site. Scholarship Central does not sell, rent, or loan any personally identifying information to outside parties. By responding to signature questions on each application, students agree that their application information may be reviewed by the specific scholarship organization that sponsors the opportunity. All sponsor organizations sign a formal partner agreement that requires them to keep student application information confidential.
To help counselors and advisors support students through the scholarship application process, a small amount of data may be shared. If a counselor, advisor, or college access program staff member requests this information, the following information is shared: student name and their general application status (drafted or submitted) and whether a student has started an opportunity application.
All other data and information sharing are done in aggregate without revealing personal information.
